Cruising is on the Rise for Spring Break

As we enter spring break season, everybody is itching for a change of scenery. The possibilities are endless as far as where and how to travel. Cruising, however, is seeing a particularly noticeable surge in popularity. More and more travelers are opting for the convenience, comfort, and adventure that cruises offer. And with the continuous advent of innovative ships, cruising has never been more enticing.

Florida's Miami, a bustling hub for cruise travel, is abuzz with activity, welcoming eager adventurers ready to explore the Caribbean and beyond. Boasting a plethora of cruise lines and itineraries to suit every taste, many people find it worthwhile to fly across the country to get to the city. Our Chief of Operations, Edwin, for example, just recently traveled to Miami to join the inaugural sailing of the Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon of the Seas (currently the largest cruise ship in the world).

One of the driving forces behind the rise in cruising popularity is the incredible value that cruises offer. Compared to land vacations, cruises often provide more bang for your buck, with inclusive amenities, diverse dining options, and a plethora of onboard entertainment. Guests only face additional charges for alcoholic beverages, specialty dining, spa treatments, certain activities, onshore excursions, and other specialty services. These things are there to elevate your experience, but you can have an amazing time with the already-included food and services on board.

While Miami is a major hub for cruises and you will need to sail from there if you want to sail to Caribbean destinations, you don’t have to fly across the country just to enjoy a cruise. Right here in Los Angeles, the Port of Long Beach serves as a gateway to adventure, with numerous cruise lines offering exciting itineraries. Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Princess are just a few of the esteemed names gracing Long Beach's shores.

Our upcoming Mother’s Day Cruise, for example, will be departing from Long Beach in the late spring. We’ll be on board the Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas on May 17-20, 2024. Joining us will be some of our favorite Armenian entertainers: Sevak Amroyan, Tatev Asatryan, Zoya, ARPI, and Gevorg Sirekanyan! That’s not all - we’re also going to have a White Night After Party with DJ Alex on the turntables! So make sure your mom’s passport is up-to-date, pack your best all-white outfits, and get ready for an amazing time. Book online or call (818) 543-1821 to make a reservation.
